NEW FOR 2010

The Hard Target Interdiction Rifle is the most compact and portable 50 caliber on the planet; it is over a foot shorter than conventional 50 BMG rifles and maintains exceptional accuracy.  Its multi-caliber capability allows snipers to use the best extreme distance sniping cartridges currently available, including the .50 BMG, .408 Cheytac, .375 Cheytac, and .416 Barrett.

Accuracy

The HTI achieves superb accuracy in all calibers, because the HTI is built around the core components of accuracy:

  1. Match grade (free-floated) barrels
  2. High quality match trigger
  3. Match grade chambers
  4. Solid, return-to-zero, barrel mounting system

Quick Caliber Conversion

The Hard Target Interdiction can quickly convert between the following calibers: .50 BMG, .408 CT, .375 CT, and .416 Barrett.  The conversion is simple and takes less than 60 seconds and returns to zero.

Benefits of the conversion feature:
  1. Operators can change rifles size, penetration, and distance capabilities.
  2. Soldiers can shoot what is available in the battlefield.
  3. Snipers only have to learn one system.
  4. Increased operator level maintenance.

Compact & Rugged

The HTI utilizes a bullpup configuration as well as a collapsible bolt design. The compact design shifts the weight reearward, creating not only a shorter weapon, but also a perfectly balanced rifle.

The HTI was designed to operate under the harshest conditions and abuse. It utilizes high-impact polymers, aircraft grade aluminums (7075-T6), ultra high-strength steels, and the strongest coatings known to man. The operating mechanisms are completely encased  by the stock panels except for the ejection port area. The stock panels attach directly to the receiver which acts as a full length mounting chassis, eliminating the need for any sort of bedding interface. The HTI sustains its accuracy and reliability in virtually any environment, including: arctic subzero temperatures, extreme heat and dust of the desert, and wet jungle environments.

SRS Magazine Overhead ViewOther Features

The HTI magazines incorporate a "shoulder retention" feature that prevents the projectile tips from slamming into the front of the magazine during recoil. In traditional magazines the projectile tips slam against the front of the magazine, deforming the projectile, and in turn diminishing accuracy. This cannot happen with our magazines. In addition, our internal magazine length is a healthy 4" long which is .4" longer than comparible magazines, making it possible to load the 300+ grain bullets to their maximum.

The full length MIL-STD-1913 rails facilitate the mounting of state of the art night vision optics, thermal sights, day/night illuminators/design-ators, and laser rangefinding equipment.
