- One system, many choices Review by Archaos

I have dropped a serious amount of coin on custom rifles in the past, but value for money and out of the box performance I cant fault my DTA SRS. Spend some time on hand loading and this system holds under a 1/4 moa group as long as you do your part.Value Quality Price
The change of calibre is what really made me jump from custom builds to this system. One set of optics and one platform, now with the option of custom calibres the SRS has to be the one and only choice.
I would like to see a .223/5.56 option also, cheap round and great performer.
I have 3 factory conversions and one custom being built now for mine already
only waiting on the 10 round mags now.

I picked my SRS up yesterday in .308, and the distributor had a .338 Lapua as well. I spent another 90 minutes driving home and then mounted my optics on it. If the weather God holds out out today it will be zeroed and I can start to really enjoy it.Value Quality Price
Either way the ergonomics and the quality are the greatest, and DTA has a customer for life. (Posted on 5/10/12) - First timer hits 12" Plate at 800 Yards! Review by Risingnshouting

Today I had the pleasure of shooting the SRS with the 22" barrel in .308 caliber. WOW! I have never shot at anything further than 200 yards before. Today I was hitting a 12" steel target at 800 yards!! Even with the shorter barrel, and the less powerful .308 cartridge, I was able to reach out and make a solid shot. The trigger was set to zero creep, and 1 lb of pull. So all I did was get the cross hairs lined up on the target, and BLAMMO, the target was hit. And with it being 800 yards out, I was able to get back on target and watch my bullet strike the target after I pulled the trigger. I just can't say enough great things about this rifle. The trigger had to be the most impressive part. Usually bullpups struggle with triggers, but this trigger is the smoothest and best feeling trigger I have ever touched - period! I can only imagine what the .338 can do. I can't recommend strongly enough what a tremendous weapon this is, and what a great value it is as well. This has to be the easiest rifle I have ever shot! When I say easy, I mean get your dope, pull the trigger, wait and bing impact at 1000 yards. I kid you not this rifle is amazing. Oh and let's not forget the thing is just awesome looking. Go ahead break the piggy bank open it's worth it. (Posted on 5/8/12)Value Quality Price - Best Damn Rife Ever Review by bsaladna

You have to be the worst shot in the world to miss a target at 500yrds with this gun which means I am one up on you. I have had this rifle for three years and I can honestly say it makes me look good. Simply stated this is the best bang for the buck. If you miss the target then don't blame it on the rifle. I'm a gun freak. I like shooting with all types of rifles just because each has its own characteristics. The SRS is beyond my limited vocabulary to describe. I've killed 2 does with it at 550 yards. No blood trailing and great shot placement. I didn't lose any meat on either because the shot placement was so easy. Past that it has moved on to pigs, coyotes and all other varmints we're blessed with in the great State of Texas. It's compactness makes silence in a stand a lot easier. No banging around on stuff trying to get the rifle in a shooting position. I've got no complaints on the trigger. Match grade best I can feel. I shot on the USMC team and was a sniper on the state SWAT team and this rifle is as good or better as any I've fired. I won't own another make of 338. I just don't see it matching up. The price stings a little at first, but it just makes you appreciate it that much more. Might as well start saving for good glass also to get everything out of this rifle. People have said this rifle is expensive, I can't say I believe that especially when you add the cost of having to buy two optics, bipeds, slings, cases. To field another COMPLETE percision rifle with the SRS the cost is less then 1800 and as little as 1350. Read the other reviews they are all dead on about this rifle. When you get to a complaint about cost keep the above statement in mind. (Posted on 4/20/12)Value Quality Price - Gotta have one! Review by Phill

I'm only 18 and living on my own. Working hard (construction) for my money, and have no car. I've been saving up to get a car, but after firing this rifle that all changed. I've fired just about any tactical rifle you can name, and I can say without a doubt this is one of the greatest rifles I've ever had the HONOR to fire. The trigger-smooth as butter, barrel conversion-so easy a trained monkey could do it, accuracy-unmatched. I am utterly astounded by this weapon system. I am officially using my car money to buy this rifle. (Posted on 3/15/12)Value Quality Price - Great rifle, too expensive Review by John Doe

I fired my buddy's SRS last week in .300 WM and .338 LM. Beats up my .300 WM 700, which has the best glass and the best ammunition I could find. When long range shots are your job, you know the best tool when you see it, and I haven't found one better than the SRS. My longer 700 snags on brush when I hunt, while my buddy can keep moving with his shorter SRS. The futuristic look also drew attention with other hunters.Value Quality Price
At over 3k, the price is hard to swallow. My 700 shoots nearly as well at half the price. The trigger is perfectly fine for some long range hunting, but at the range, when you want to show off by stuffing as many bullets as you can into one hole, it's not as slick as some other custom triggers. Average for a bolt-action, but not so great for a purpose-built long range machine.
Amazing, I'm saving up for one now! (Posted on 11/20/11) - Amazing Review by Cassonova

I own a barret 50 and an SRS and the SRS always finishes on top. How could it not? Most of my friends own good sniper rifles and when they used the SRS they were dumbstruck perfect shot each time even a bad shot could'nt miss with it. It is an amazing rifle. (Posted on 9/25/11)Price Value Quality
