Length: 5 days
Prerequisite: Precision Marksman I and Fieldcraft I/II or graduation from a DOD or CLEET/POST approved Law Enforcement sniper school. This is an extremely physically rigorous course of instruction. Students must be in physically fit condition. If a student has any allergies to grass, pollen, mold or bee/ant stings you must be current on your medication and have any applicable epi pens etc you may need.
Training Objectives: Students will plan and conduct multiple and diversified sniper missions within teams and utilizing mutually supported positions and coordinated fires. These events will require mission planning, insertion, patrolling, stalking, hide site/final firing position selection and construction, observation, radio procedures, collecting and reporting information as well as live fire engagement of selected targets or targets of opportunity in the Area of Operations. Some exercises will include active and passive compromise, ambushes and escape and evasion scenarios. You will learn how to operate as a sniper and observer within a sniper team and accomplish such missions as may be required.
